Tether Cars
Since the first tether car raced at Exhibition Park Parramatta Road, Ashfield in 1940, the search for speed has continued. While the technology has changed, the goal remains to register the fastest time for the individual car over 8 laps of the track equal to 500 metres.
Racers compete twice monthly at Model Park and attend interstate and international events.
The highlight of 2010 will be the World Championships to be held at Model Park in October.
